Synergy started works at Braila for the Municipal Waste Water Treatment Plant
SYNERGY has signed a contract with Passavant - Roediger GmbH for the construction of the Braila Municipal Waste Water Treatment Plant. The main client is Dunarea Waterworks Public Company. Duration of the project is 10 months.
SYNERGY is acting as civil works General Contractor in the construction of waste water treatment plant for approximately 285.000 PE. The scope of works is the construction of a waste water treatment plant and the effluent outfall and includes the complete design, configuration, supply, delivery to site, off-loading, safe storage, erection, site installation, testing and commissioning and putting into reliable service of Civil Works. The site for WWTP is situated outside of the northern boundary of Braila City, adjacent to the road connecting Braila to Galati. The effluent from the Braila WWTP is to be discharged to the Danube via an outfall pipe of approximately one kilo meter in length.
The contracted civil works are complex and challenging from the engineering point of view consisting of several Tanks (such as Race Track Aeration and Final Sedimentation), Pumping Stations, Outlying Buildings (such as Screening & Grit Removal and Aerated Grit Chamber and Grease Trap) and an Administration Building whose overall quantities are quite impressive: more than 40,000 cubic meters of concrete, 3,500 tons of reinforcement, 85,000 square meters of formworks, 200,000 cubic meters of excavation and backfilling. Besides aforementioned activities, SYNERGY` scope of works is made up as wells of external roads and platforms, service platforms for the technological processes, internal finishes works and electro-mechanical services for all technical buildings.
